DICOM Director is a full-scale application that allows the creation and viewing of 3D models from most standard DICOM formats. Physicians use DICOM Director for the purposes of surgical preplanning and post analysis, and for patient education.

The full application is available in two parts.

3D Model creation and viewing from the Azure Web portal.

3D Model viewing and manipulation in Augmented/Mixed Reality through a headset.

Model selection and manipulation can be controlled through voice or hand control

Model Manipulation

Scale, rotate and move models to for full 3D immersion

Cutting Plane

Change perspective by using the cutting plane to slice into the model allowing interior anatomical views and immersion
