Augmented Life Experience is the first app for mental health professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists of any orientation) who intend to offer patients/users Virtual Reality in professional practice in order to promote their psychological wellbeing and positive change by extending the setting and amplifying the therapeutic experience.
This app proposes different methods supported by numerous neuroscientific research:
- Augmented Wellbeing (Medical Device): immersive experiences designed and sounded to keep people's soothing system active, promote deep relaxation and relief from anxiety and distress, working on emotional regulation and psychological rehabilitation.
- Augmented Psychology: immersive metaphorical narratives designed and sounded ad hoc to stimulate people's perceptual-reactive, emotional, imaginative, cognitive and metacognitive systems, helping them to relive and redefine their life events, promoting biographical reframing, psychoemotional support and psychological rehabilitation.
- Augmented Situations: immersive experiences that reproduce problematic scripts for people, fostering the dimension of reminiscence, thanks to a special style of display made to bring up memories, experiences and emotions more sharply.
- Augmented Corporate: immersive experiences used with Corporate teams to strengthen their Soft Skills through Stress & Change Management interventions.
